From 20 to 22 April, MediPIET fellows participated in their first face-to-face training activity – the Project Review Module. It was organised in Spetses, Greece and delivered in a hybrid mode with fellows attending the module both in person and virtually.
From 25 to 29 April, immediately after the Project Review Module, MediPIET fellows and nominated external participants, together with fellows from the ECDC Fellowship (EPIET and EUPHEM) and PAE programme, participated in a hybrid Introductory Course part 2 also held in Spetses, Greece. During the module, fellows from all fellowship programmes learned about scientific communication, pedagogical principles and advanced microbiological methods used in outbreak investigations.
